Coming off a 5-6 season and their second straight playoff appearance in 2023, Head Coach Ryan Wolfe and his squad aim to establish themselves in 5A District 3. The new FHSAA district grouping places the Broncos among Fleming Island, Ponte Vedra, Orange Park, and Beachside in district play. 

Middleburg will kickoff preseason play against Baldwin (5-6, loss in playoffs to Baker County) in the Clay County Kickoff Classic Game of the Week. Middleburg Returns a handful of star players on both sides of the football. QB Carson Stewart will lead the charge on offense for the Broncos in his second and final year in the Middleburg uniform. DB Jayden Boyd, coming into the 2024 season with multiple division one offers, has attracted the attention of news stations in the Northeast Florida area, landing his name on the Florida Times Union list for "Best Jacksonville-area DBs for 2024 season." Boyd is a force to be reckoned with on defense with 25 tackles, four pass break-ups, three interceptions, and two fumble recoveries in 2023. LB Wain Sulph has developed into a key leader on defense, taking on the role of "QB of the defense." Sulph fills the spot of a hardnose hybrid LB playing either in the box or in the secondary. Dline BJ Carter is working towards adding a few more highlights to his resume before heading to play on the gridiron for the Iowa State Cyclones in 2025. Carter led a strong defensive front for Middleburg in 2023, creating numerous pressure situations and tackles for loss on opposing QBs.
