Saturday morning, Cross Country hosted their annual Bronco Classic. The race had a great turnout with 30 schools competing and 1000+ total runners.

Daniel Johnson (JR) placed 70th overall, being the first on the Middleburg boys team to finish. In his second race of the season, he impressively PR'd with a finishing time of 19:33:20. Second to finish for the Broncos was Isaac Shaw (SR), who finished 98th overall with a time of 20:27:50. Following closely behind were Nicholas Coffman (FR) and Deaclan Finch (JR), finishing in 101st and 102nd with finishing times of 20:31:90 and 20:32:60 respectively.

The Girls Varsity team was led by Paloma Romero (SR), who finished 72nd with a time of 24:16:00. Finishing second for the girls was Isabella Munoz (JR) with a finishing time of 24:34:10, securing 77th place. In 112th place was Skylar Marles (JR), finishing at 26:44:20.

Middleburg Cross Country will next compete against Pedro Menendez on Saturday, September 7 at Pedro Menendez.
