Girls Golf secured a big district win in their season opener tri match against Fleming Island and Saint Augustine on Wednesday afternoon. Under first-year head coach Becca Triplett, the Broncos battled to a 2-stroke advantage over Fleming Island.

Led by Emily Martin (FR) with a score of 47 and taking third place overall on the afternoon, and trailed closely by Jordan Bork (FR) with a score of 51, finishing 4th overall. This surge of young talent keeps Middleburg hopeful that another state tournament appearance could be on the horizon following the departure of Neva Winslow (Class of 24'). Sophia Gaeta (SR)finished the afternoon scoring 62 through nine holes and Reagan Stininger (SO) posting a score of 65.

Middleburg will host Orange Park and Keystone on Monday, August 26th, at Eagle Landing Golf Club.
