Last Saturday, Middleburg Cross County showed they're making strides on and off the trail with their hard work and dedication. This is shown by six Middleburg runners who made it into the top 100 at the 13th Annual Spikes Spurs Classic in Flagler County.

Paloma Romero (SR) posted a time of 24:57, finding her way into the top 50. In the boys top 100, Daniel Johnson placed 76th overall with a time of 20:11. Isaac Shaw hit the trail in his first year, finishing in the boys top 100 at 20:44, placing him at 91. Emma Dionne (SO) placed 80th in the girls race with a 27:01 finish. Elizabeth Brown (SR) and Skylar Marles (JR) found their way to a top 100 finish at 96th and 98th with times at 28:23 and 28:25.

Middleburg XC will host their annual Bronco Classic this Saturday. The morning race will include over one thousand runners from thirty schools across the Northeast Florida area.
